Response to Preliminary County Comments Received on March 17, 2011 <br />Adequacy Issue #10 <br />As noted above, on Figures F-1 through F-5, affected lands are illustrated as large colored <br />polygons. The color fill obscures details that might otherwise be visible. Please eliminate the <br />unnecessary color fills. <br />Response #10 <br />Adequacy Issue #10 has been addressed in the enclosed submitted mans. (See Response #9) <br />Adequacy Issue #11 <br />The application includes approximately 24 maps, yet the majority of the existing and proposed <br />mine features are not shown. Figure T-4a, submitted with the Stormwater Management Plan, <br />provides some detail but does not comply with the basic map requirements of Rule 6.2.1(2) and <br />is not acceptable. Please correctly locate the major mine features, including but not limited to, <br />all underground openings, mine benches, material stockpile areas, the proposed mill facility, and <br />the water storage containers and the Zircon containers utilized to support the mining and milling <br />operation. Please submit detailed maps, which are compliant with the basic map requirements of <br />Rule 6.2.1(2), and clearly delineate and label the existing and proposed mine features. <br />Response #11 <br />Adequacy Issue #11 has been addressed in the enclosed submitted maps. Maps have been <br />revised to comply with the basic map requirements of Rule 6.2.1(2). Maps identify <br />underground openings, mine benches, material stockpile areas, the proposed mill facility, <br />and the water storage containers and the Zircon containers utilized to support the mining <br />and milling operation. <br />Adequacy Issue #12 <br />Please submit a surface map which identifies the glory hole, associated with the May Day 1 <br />workings, and other pre-permit mine features associated with the historic May Day and Idaho <br />mines. Include details on Mountain Man Survey base maps-including stockpile ores <br />Response #12 <br />Adequacy Issue #12 has been addressed in the enclosed submitted maps. The glory hole, <br />and May Day No.1 facilities including pre-permit mine features are located on several <br />submitted maps.
