The following list is the best estimate as to the equipment which will be used onsite throughout <br />the mine life: <br />- Dozer D-8 size <br />2 Front End Loaders 980 size or smaller <br />2-4 Off Road Dump Trucks <br />Part Time Water Truck (As needed) <br />Topsoil Equipment (Scrapers, Graders) <br />Support equipment may need to come on site on an as-needed basis. Watering of the pit travel <br />area and the mine access road will be accomplished using the water truck, which will have a <br />minimum of a 2,000 gallon tank. The wash ponds within Mining Area 1 is used to fill the water <br />truck from a small pump. <br />There will be no blasting as part of this operation. <br />The operator will clearly mark the permit boundary. <br />The access road will access highway 141 from the stockpile area. Temporary roads will be built <br />and moved as needed to connect the stockpile area with the current mining area. <br />Mining Area 6 consists of the BLM access road. This road will need to be rerouted prior to any <br />disturbance in Mining Area 6. Also the rerouting of the BLM access road will require approval <br />from BLM, which is in progress. <br />4. Topsoil, Overburden Handling and Waste Fines <br />Topsoil will be salvaged from all Mining Areas. The expected topsoil thickness is approximately <br />0-5 inches. Gravel will be mined'and taken to the crusher/screener by loader or truck. Mining <br />will be conducted in 6 phases, which minimizes disturbed area and allows stormwater protection <br />structures to be implemented in phases as needed.
