Assumptions:
(1) Sludge will fill to within one to two feet of the top of the existing berms.
(2) Sludge is alkaline material that will not require liming to bring pH into the ran ge of pH 6-9.
(3) The sludge will be allowed to "dry-out" such that it will be traversible with no rmal construction equipment.
(4) Revegetation is covered elsewhere.
Tasks:
(1) Grade out the perimeter of the berms from 2H to IV slopes to final slopes = 3H to 1V using dozer.
(2) Haul in growth media (biosolids) to cover graded sludge using Cal 972 Load er and Cat 730 truck fleet.
(3) Speed growth media (biosolids) with LGP DS dozer.
