It should be noted that the SPCC/MCP may include references to chemicals (non-designated) and fuels not regulated by DRMS under HRMMR Rule 6, including petroleum products regulated through the SPCC Regulations at 40 CFR Part 112. T-3.2 Known Potential to Affect Human Health and the Environment Collector A collector reagent 'collects' the molybdenum in a froth flotation extraction process allowing the molybdenum to float to the surface of the float cells. Nalco TX 13976 (or equivalent) will be used as a collector/cleaner (regrind) reagent in the milling process. Nalco TX 13976 is a combustible petroleum distillate. Aside from being combustible, Nalco TX 13976 is an aspiration hazard and a skin and eye irritant. Nalco TX 13976 may be a carcinogen. In the environment, Nalco TX 13976 reacts similar to other petroleum distillates and can cause short-term damage to terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
