Exhibit J, Proof of Mailing Notices of Permit Application Rule 6.3. 10
The notices to the local conservation district and county commissioners were included in your application, and the
stamped imprints of those offices appear thereon, as proof of hand-delivering them. The notice intended for the Rio
Grande Conservation District, however, appears to have been delivered to the local office of the USDA MRCS,
which is a different agency. It is common for a conservation district office to be co-located with the NRCS, but there
is no indication that the notice delivered to the NRCS will be forwarded to the conservation district. Please provide
some proof or clarification that NRCS office staff will forward your notice to the local district.
Exhibit L, Permanent Man-made Structures, Rule 6.3.12
Please identify all significant structures within 200 feet of the permitted area boundary, such as roads, fences, ditches,
and buried or above-ground utilities, and indicate the ownership of each. These structures must also be depicted on
the maps in Exhibit E.
The items listed above must be provided before this office can proceed with the technical review of the application.
If you wish to have another party prepare and submit application materials on your behalf, please provide a statement
authorizing that party to do so. As a reminder, please provide two copies of all submitted materials.
This office must receive your additional amendment application materials within 60 days of this letter or the
application may be denied. The additional materials may be sent directly to me at the Division's Durango field
office. After this office determines the amendment application is complete, you will be notified and instructed to
begin publication.
If you have any questions please contact me. I may be reached at: DRMS, 691 CR 233, Room A-2, Durango, CO
81301; te1970-247-5193.
Sincerely,
G? ?r? 1.
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
Ec: Steve Shuey, DRMS, Grand Junction
(cA11-03 docs\soward am01 incomp/rco)
