Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> R -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Williams Fork Mines conducted by Jim Stark of the Colorado Division of <br /> Reclamation,Mining and Safety. Joe Shoemaker of Moffat County Mining accompanied me on the Inspection. <br /> (The Division recently approved a revision changing the mine operator's name from BTUEC to Moffat County <br /> Miring). The mine is not actively producing coal but they are performing limited reclamation work. The weather <br /> was cold and overcast and the ground was covered with several inches of snow. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> -All of the necessary records were brought to the mine site in binders by Joe Shoemaker. They are housed at the <br /> Twenty Mile Mine in Oak Creek. All of the necessary records were available for review. See the Availability of <br /> Records form at the end of this inspection for more detailed information. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14 Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour <br /> 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2,4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials <br /> 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> -The backfilled No. 4 Mine portal was covered with snow but appeared to remain stable. No slumping, settling or <br /> cracking was noted in the backfrll.
