SUMMIT COUNTY LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT CODE <br />CHAPTER 10: Areas and Activities of State Interest <br />• i. A description of the type of motive power that will be used to propel transit vehicles along the <br /> guideway and maximum anticipated speed of the transit vehicles along different segments of the <br /> system. <br />ii. Maps showing the proposed right-of-way. <br />iii. The minimum and maximum passenger capacity of the transit vehicles that will travel on the <br /> guideway and the anticipated frequency or scheduling of guideway use. <br />iv. The maximum proposed grade of the guideway and the maximum curvature. Proposed curves in <br /> excess of ten (10) degrees shall be indicated on the map. <br />v. Identification of all buildings or other structures that must be removed in order for the proposed <br /> guideway to be built. <br />vi. A plan for preventing collisions at points where the proposed guideway crosses other <br /> transportation corridors. <br />d. Sta tions and Terminals: If the proposed facility is a station or a terminal associated with a rapid or <br />mass transit system, the application shall also include: <br />i. A passenger impact analysis including: <br /> (1) The number of vehicle trips associated with the station or terminal at or just before any <br /> scheduled departure; <br /> (2) The number of passengers that will likely ride only one (1) way on any given day; and <br /> (3) The number of passengers that can be expected to bring baggage, recreational equipment, <br /> tools or other material. <br />ii. The anticipated schedule of departures and arrivals at the station or terminal and the expected <br /> capacity of each transit unit. <br />iii. The maximum length of any train that will serve the station or terminal, excluding propulsion <br /> units. <br />iv. Basic floor plans and architectural sketches of each proposed building or structure, together with a <br /> site map showing the relative location of each building or structure. <br />v. A map of all roadways, parking areas and other facilities showing details such as width, layout <br /> <br />• , <br />traffic flow, pavement markings and traffic control devices. <br />vi. Identification of all buildings or other structures that must be removed in order for the proposed <br /> station or terminal to be built. <br />K. Completeness Determination <br />An application shall not be accepted unless it is complete per the requirements of this Chapter 10. <br />Within 30 working days after an application has been submitted or any supplements or additions <br />thereto have been submitted, as appropriate, the Planning Director shall determine whether the <br />application is complete per the requirements of this Chapter 10. If the Planning Director determines <br />that the application is incomplete, then within 30 working days after the application (or any <br />supplement or addition thereto) is submitted, the Planning Director shall specify in writing the <br />additional information that is required. When the application is complete, the Planning Director shall <br />note upon the application the date and hour of receipt. . <br />10300: APPROVING AND ISSUING A PERMIT <br />A. Permit Review and Hearing Procedures <br />1. Major Permit Review Procedures <br />a. Staff Review and Staff Report: The Planning Department shall review the application and prepare a <br />report recommending approval, conditional approval, denial or continuance of the permit. <br />b. Set Hearing Date: The Planning Director shall set the hearing date not less than 30 days nor more <br />than 60 days after receipt of a complete application. <br />c. Hearing Notice: No later than 30 days after receipt of a complete application, the County shall <br />publish notice of the hearing. Notice shall be published once in a legal newspaper of general <br />circulation in the County, not less than 30 days nor more than 60 days before the date set for hearing. <br />• The County shall also mail notice of the hearing to those on the mailing list as described in Section <br />19
