Mineral Withdrawal Studies: Prepared studies required by federal regulations to assess the environmental <br />and economic impacts associated with the withdrawal of minerals from location and entry under the General <br />Mining Law for Forest Service lands within the Beaver Creek Recreation Area and Vail Ski Area. Clients <br />were the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and Vail Associates, Inc. <br />Metropolitan Water Roundtable: Appointed by Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm to represent the <br />Colorado Environmental Caucus, an association of seventeen local and national conservation organizations, <br />in the formulation of plans to meet the future water supply needs of the Denver Metro area. Coordinated the <br />efforts of the Caucus and a team of engineering, economic and environmental consultants in developing a <br />long range water supply plan for the Denver area as an alternative to the proposed Two Forks Dam. <br />Metropolitan Water Supply Environmental Impact Statement: Under contract funded by the U.S. Army <br />Corps of Engineers, coordinated the efforts of the Colorado Environmental Caucus in review of and comment <br />on preliminary EIS documents. Participated in development of data and analysis of operational assumptions <br />used in the development of a computer model of the Denver Water Supply System. This model was used by <br />the Corps of Engineers in verifying the accuracy of information provided by the Denver Water Department. <br /> <br /> <br />Resume Earth & Environmental Weaver.doc
