Pineda <br />Director <br />RE: Second Preliminary Adequacy Issues for a 112d-1 Application, CN-01, <br />Wildcat Mining Corporation, May Day Idaho Mine Complex, File No. M-1981-185. <br />Dear Mr. Robinson: <br />Division staff member David Bird has completed his preliminary review of CN-01. As noted in <br />the attached review memorandum from Mr. Bird, dated March 25, 2011, Mr. Bird focused on <br />geochemistry and water quality issues, and provides additional details and clarifications to the <br />adequacy issues previously raised by the Division. Please address the adequacy issues <br />identified by Mr. Bird, listed in his attached memorandum dated March 25, 2011, as well as the <br />adequacy issues previously raised by the Division in its letter dated March 15, 2011. <br />As a point of clarification, in the Division's previous adequacy letter, dated March 15, 2011, the <br />Division informed the Applicant that all maps for the application must be revised to <br />appropriately identify the boundary of affected lands. Please ensure the boundary of affected <br />lands, shown on the maps, correlate with the affected lands identified in Exhibit A, Legal <br />Description. According to Exhibit A, affected lands include the following: <br />• May Day 1- <br />• May Day 1 East - <br />• May Day 2 - <br />• May Day 3 (Lamb) - <br />• Idaho Millsite - <br />• PayDay Millsite - <br />• Augmentation Pipeline Corridor - <br />• Chief Tunnel - <br />• La Plata Bridge - <br />• USFS Access Road - <br />• Exploration roads & drill pads - <br />• Pre-existing Roads - 9.5 acres; and <br />• New Access Road - 1.8 acres. <br />Total Affected Lands - 47.6 acres <br />Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Denver Grand Junction Durango <br />3.5 acres; <br />0.5 acres; <br />3.3 acres; <br />3.2 acres; <br />3.1 acres; <br />5.1 acres; <br />0.4 acres; <br />0.3 acres; <br />0.1 acres; <br />1.0 acres (if special use permit is obtained); <br />15.8 acres; <br />Office of <br />Active and Inactive Mines
