To fully meet the demand of 20.08 AF/yr, applicant is requiiw to dry up an additional 5.22 <br />acres when the mine is in operation. Upon completion of gravel extraction, the amount of additional dry-up <br />necessary is 3.61 acres. Associated with the dry-up is the amount of water necessary to be.dedicated from <br />the Griffmg No. 1 Ditch priorities to the plan of augmentation.. The ditch historically used 5 priorities to <br />serve 80 acres of land. Therefore, the amount of water to be transferred from the headgate diversion is as <br />follows: <br />A <br />d Priority AQM _ffs- Sf."L <br />39 9.9/80 x 2.0 = .248 <br />44 9.9/80 x 1.0 = .124 <br />208 9.9/80 x 8.0 = .992 <br />212 9.9/80 x 4.0 = .496 <br />287 9.9/80 x 7.75=,251 <br />Total 2.821 cfs <br />During the non-irrigation season, depletions affecting downstream rights will be offset by pumping water <br />from Seashore Pond Well directly to Tomichi Creek. <br />6 Recommend the court grant a conditional underground water right to Seahorse Pond Well of 17.2 AF <br />6 (volumetric total of annual evaporation) for mining, recreation, industrial, piscatorial, and wildlife beneficial <br />use(s). Applicant install a measuring device to quantify the amount and timing of water used in ground <br />mining operations. <br />3.
