Please note the existing roads have been entered on maps. <br />2. Please note the intermittent stream has been entered on maps. <br />3. Please note the excavation area and highwall have been entered on maps. <br />4. Mining will not be in two phases, all 28 acres to be included now. <br />5. Please note stockpile on maps which will contain overburden. <br />6. Please note the corrected contour lines ranging now from 4945 to 4925 on maps. <br />ExhibitD-Mining Plan <br />7. The permit area will only be for 28 acres. Also included new cover page with <br />corrected acres on permit application . Original and copy for your records.Also a <br />corrected permit application form with the proper acres and some other <br />corrections was sent to your office, certified /received Nov. 3,2011. <br />8. Please note the permit is now for the entire 28 acres, to eliminate the two phases <br />of mining. <br />9. Please note the dry streambed identified on all maps. So as to not disturb any <br />drainage or surface water drainage or snow melt, no mining will occur within 50 <br />feet from center line of stream in either direction. <br />10. No longer having any stone sales will trigger the reclamation phase. <br />11. We will try to keep walls 3 feet or less, if over 3 feet, the highwalls will be a 3 to <br />1 slope. <br />12. When topsoil and overburden are stockpiled for 180 days or more, we will seed <br />the area using a broadcast method. Small stone scraps will be used to fill in the bench slopes. A loader will be used to <br />reclaim the areas to a 3 to 1 slope. <br />14. A cover crop of sorghum/sudangrass will be used during reclamation. <br />15. No mulching will be used, a cover crop of sorghum/sudangrass mixture will be <br />used at 30 lbs per acre. <br />16. We will use a broadcast method for reclamation. We will commit to doubling the <br />seeding rate as indicated above in ques on 912. <br />17. a. Possible invasive weeds as per the NRCS are: wavey leaf thistle, koacha <br />weed, milk weed, and whirl weed.
