should clearly indicate with regard to TR-56 all surface structures and
renewable resources that will be undermined OR be undermined and
subsided.
17. Gas wells are indicated on Map 3, 2011 Mine Plan according to annotation
and the legend provided. However, in the vicinity of mining, three gas wells
are not shown; 26-09 south of Apache seam mining, 25-14 south of the
Apache Canyon Airshaft #1, and 25-08 northeast of the same airshaft.
These wells are shown on Map 20, sheet 1. It is important that gas wells
within and adjacent to the permit boundary be accurate as compared to Map
20, for all maps that show gas wells. Please review and correct Map 3 as
necessary.
i 8. Please correct the reference on page 2.04-11 d to "Map 20, sheets 1, 2, and
3" to correctly reference the Map 6a series that show the structure contours
for each coal seam.
19. On Map 8 Regional Hydrology, text in the map legend for the bedrock wells
(green and purple symbols) should be separated for proper symbol
explanations. Also, noted on the map is the annotation "Cirbella Canyon"
which should be labeled "Ciruela Canyon". Please correct these minor
errors as noted.
20. In the legend on Map 20, sheet 1, please add a reference to indicate detail is
shown not only on sheet 2 but also on sheet 3.
21. The scale on Map 20, sheet 3 states " 1 inch=120 feet" but measures 1 inch
=60 feet". Please correct as necessary.
22. Gas well 31-4 Ciruela Canyon is spotted on Map 20 sheet 1 in Section 30
rather than Section 31. Nothing apparently exists at the location as shown in
the detail. Is this location properly spotted on the map?
23. Please provide a revised version of Map 1, Surface Ownership showing the
TR-56 permit boundary as described by information submitted under Rule
2.03, legal description of the permit boundary (question #1 of this letter).
24. Please provide Map 2 Coal Ownership at a scale of 1 inch=1500 feet to
match the scale of the Map 1 Surface Ownership.
25. The Division must find that the affected area is not within 300 feet of a
school or church. Using the materials submitted with TR-56, it is not clear
what the exact distance is from the affected area to the church and school
shown in Detail VV Map 20, sheet 1. Please provide additional information
to show the horizontal distance from the affected area to these two buildings.
