Coal mine waste is spread and compacted until the unit dry weight of the lift <br />reaches a value not less than 90% of the maximum unit dry weight attained in a <br />laboratory compaction tests. The Operator will not alter its reclamation schedule <br />in order to accept coal mine waste from the McClane Canyon Mine. The refuse <br />piles will be graded, covered and seeded according to the approved reclamation <br />schedule without regard to any agreement to accept coal mine waste from the <br />McClane Canyon Mine. <br />2.05.3(9) & (10) Return of Coal Mine Waste to Abandoned Workings <br />Disposal of coal processing waste underground was attempted but was not <br />found to be feasible. References in the permit application to this system are no <br />longer valid. <br />Descriptions, locations and cross - sections of waste disposal structures are <br />discussed in Section 2.05.3(8). Underground development waste that was <br />brought to the surface was handled as coal processing waste. <br />MR -75 13 -24 (New 10/09) <br />
