• It is proposed that the formal judgment of the stocking of woody plants within the <br />reclaimed area be 200 stems per acre in the background areas of reclamation and 2000 <br />stems per acre in the concentrated shrub establishment areas and based on the following <br />testable hypothesis: <br />The density of full shrubs and trees will equal or exceed 90 percent of a standard of 200 <br />stems per acre in background areas and 90 percent of 2000 stem per acre in concentration <br />areas. <br />Shrub concentration areas are depicted on Exhibit 13-13.3 in appendix 13-3. There is a <br />single shrub concentration area of approximately 6 acres within the southwestern corner of <br />the PR-2 reduced permit boundary. <br />• <br />-0 <br />PR-02 2.05.4-9 10/10
