The ground was dry and clear of snow. <br /> The complete coal inspection entailed observation of well sampling by Danny Kipp, a general inspection of the <br /> site with Don MacDonald,and a records check. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> A very small amount of dust was blowing off of the dumped ash. It was not being blown off site. No dust was <br /> blowing off of the roads or other areas. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Records were in order-see list below. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05: <br /> CEC staff indicated that there had been no recent precipitation. No water was observed in B Pit or the two ponds <br /> (Sediment Pond 2 and the Dugout Pond). No problems were observed with the two ponds. <br /> Six wells were sampled by Danny Kipp during the inspection: FPW,AMW-1,DH-96,DH-122,AMW-2, and <br /> SMW-2 in order of sampling. Field parameters were measured(pH,temperature,water depth,and electrical <br /> conductivity)and samples were prepared to send to a lab. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br /> CEC continues to dispose of ash in Pit B. CEC will continue to place ash on the lower lift until they reach the <br /> northern extent of the B pit. During the inspection, a truck dumped an ash load into the pit.
