Scope of Work <br />18L Air Compressor Building Extension <br />intake gravity louvered window on the west wall (near ground level), and a _ x _ exhaust fan on the <br />east wall above and near the 36" man door. The building shall be insulated with 3 -1/2" x 24" roll -type <br />fiberglass insulation, minimum R -13 value, with WMP -10 vinyl backer. The building shall be <br />designed and built to withstand 70 lbs per square foot of snow load. Refer to design loading <br />parameters on the attached CECO building package. <br />Inside the building extension and hanging from the roof, the contractor shall procure and provide for <br />sufficient structural support to hang two each, ISIS, Big Ass 8 -FT fans with "Slim Line" wall mounted <br />controls as per the fan locations on the provided exhibits and the attached ISIS technical specifications <br />and installation guide. The fans shall be the color Chestnut and shall be positioned near the centerline <br />of the 54' -10" length, approximately 24' from the south wall of the existing MCC building, so as to <br />maintain a minimum of 11" of clearance from the bottom of the fan air foils to the projected top of the <br />Ingersoll Rand air compressors. <br />The building designer may move the locations of the 36" man doors, the louvered intake window and <br />the exhaust fan as needed in their general areas to match the structural design of the building extension. <br />Final wiring of electrical circuits to the exhaust fan, future lighting and ISSI ceiling fans to be done by <br />others. <br />• TCC Responsibilities: <br />1. Obtain all required state and county environmental permits and approvals. <br />2. Provide on site hazard training necessary for contract personnel to operate on the surface areas. <br />3. Provide final building location and orientation. <br />Contractor's Responsibilities: <br />1. Portland Cement Concrete Specifications: <br />a. Portland cement concrete shall be composed of Portland cement and an air - entraining <br />admixture or air - entrained Portland cement, fine and coarse aggregates, and water. <br />b. The proportions of the materials shall be such as to develop a minimum twenty -eight (28) <br />day laboratory compressive strength of four thousand pounds per square inch (3,000PSI) or <br />as specified elsewhere in these Documents. <br />c. During the course of construction, tests of the concrete shall be made. Three (3) specimens <br />shall be made for each test, one (1) to be broken at seven (7) days and two (2) at <br />twenty -eight (28) days.
