SENECA II MINE <br />2010 ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT <br />2010 DISTURBANCE AREA <br />No additional acres were disturbed during 2010. The total disturbed area remains at 1,968.8 acres, excluding <br />the Pre-Law disturbance. This acreage is reflected on the CDRMS Annual Report Form and is included in <br />the text of the following report. The 2010 Reclamation Map portrays the extent of the disturbance <br />boundaries. <br />BACKFILLING AND GRADING <br />No backfilling occurred in 2010 at Seneca II mine. <br />SOIL AND SPOIL MONITORING <br />SCC is required by Permit C-80-005 to monitor the salvage, storage, and redistribution of soil and spoil <br />handling operations at Seneca II Mine. <br />• Soil Recovery Documentation <br />No additional topsoil was salvaged since no new disturbance occurred. <br />• Soil Pit - Topsoil Fertility/Spoil Quality <br />• No additional soil pit or spoil samples were collected within the Permanent Program permit area in 2010. <br />• Soil Balance <br />Seneca submitted the final soil balance as Technical Revision No. 31 on June 26, 1997 as the final reclamation <br />- topsoil management plan for Seneca II. Subsequently, the CDMG approved this final topsoil management <br />plan on December 9, 1997. Hence, no soil balance will be submitted with any further Annual Reclamation <br />Report. <br />• Soil Salvage, Storage and Replacement <br />No additional topsoil was placed in 2010. Stockpile A still contains 1.0 acre feet of topsoil.
