February 24, 2011 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RDZ <br /> OTHER: <br /> At the Ash Pit, a truck was dumping a load while a D10 dozer was moving ash. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03: <br /> Many roads were observed during the inspection,including the Life-of-Mine Road,the Middle Ash Road,the <br /> West Ash Road,the Middle Z Road,the K1 Road,the Z3 Road,the B/C Road,and the D Pit Road. Most of the <br /> roadside ditches contained several inches of snow,but the roads were stable and were functioning as permitted at <br /> the time of the inspection. Some ruts were observed(on West Ash Road)but not on active haul roads. Several <br /> ditch outs were inspected along the Life-of-Mine Road, and no significant erosion was observed. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> Due to snow conditions,the ground was not visible at some locations during the inspection. On the areas that <br /> were visible,no problems such as gullies on reclaimed areas were observed. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> No problems were observed at any support facilities. The areas inspected were: the East Panel Ready Line,the <br /> ANFO truck storage("the Blast Hole"),the waste storage area on the B/C Road, and the shop area. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> The mine ID and blasting signs at the main mine entrance and at the entrance near the power plant were found to <br /> be in compliance. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Page 3 of 7 <br />
