Pf a <br />2C2-=37 to 60 inches; very pale brown (10YR 7/4) extremely cobbly sand, <br />light yellowish brown (10YR 6/4) moist; single grain; loose, nonsticky, and <br />nonplastic; 35 percent pebbles, 35 percent cobbles; noncalcareous; mildly <br />alkaline. <br />The mollic epipedon is 16 to 25 inches thick. Depth to the <br />sandy-skeletal 2C horizon is 20 to 40 inches. The 2C horizon with a texture <br />of loamy fine sandy is absent in some pedons. Reaction is neutral or mildly <br />alkaline. Depth to the water table is 20 to 30 inches in May and June and <br />30 to 50 inches the remainder of the year. <br />A2 and AC horizons: Texture is loam, clay loam, or sandy clay loam. <br />2C1 horizon: Texture is loamy sand, sand, or loamy fine sand. <br />2C2 horizon: Texture is extremely cobbly sand or extremely gravelly <br />sand.
