Item 13) The cost estimate submitted for the re-application of topsoil indicated 9000 cubic <br />yards of topsoil would be needed, Based on the proposal to apply 8-12" of topsoil to the site, <br />a minimum of approximately 10,650 cubic yards would be needed to reclaim 9.9 acres of <br />land. Please submit a new estimate to apply the necessary amount of topsoil <br />Response: Riverside Aggregates LLC plans to apply 8-12" of topsoil to the site and <br />estimates applying up to 10,650 cubic yards of topsoil to the site in reclamation. The <br />estimated cost for material is $10,650.00 at a rate of $1.00 per ton. Please note that this <br />information has been added to the Reclamation Plan - revised 2/15/2011. <br />Item 14) The Division is aware manure can be obtained at no cost in this area. However, in <br />the unlikely event the financial warranty would be forfeited the Division would have to <br />transport the material to the site and spread it. Please provide a cost estimate for the <br />transportation and application of manure. <br />Response: The estimated cost to transport and spread the manure equal to 25 tons per acre, <br />or 248 total tons, at a cost of $2.90 per acre is $717.00. Please note that this information has <br />been added to the Reclamation Plan - revised 2/15/2011. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Item 15) Pursuant to Rule 1.6.2 (1), Please provide evidence the proper notice was published <br />in the newspaper of general circulation. The notice was to be published once; at least ten days <br />after the Office notified you that your application was considered complete. <br />Response: Please see the attached news paper notice.
