February 2, 2011 C-1981-020 Munger Canyon Mine MPB <br />ROADS —Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Due to snow packed road conditions only a portion of the mine site was accessible. The mine site access road off <br />of Highway 139 was passable up to the approximate location of the sediment pond, cover soil pile and waste pile. <br />Beyond that the road was snow packed and icy and was deemed unsafe to travel further. There was no activity at <br />the mine site and no problems were noted with this inspection. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />The Mine and Permit identification sign was properly displayed and maintained at the entrance to the permit area <br />from Highway 139. <br />OFFSITE SUPPORT FACILIITES - Rule 4.04, 4.28: <br />The reclaimed Loma Loadout site was inspected. The site was partially snow packed. The sign with operator <br />information, DRMS Permit Number and MSHA ID is in good condition and clearly visible at the site.
