Report: Provide outstanding Financial Warranty in the amount of <br />$8,730 (31 Dec 2010). <br />The Division understands that due to its location the Mackey Mine is difficult to access during the winter. <br />Therefore, correctiveactions that require activity at the site may be. postponed. until 'conditions allow. <br />However, under Hard RockRule 8.5(a), the open portal is a serious safety issue that must be abated as soon <br />as practical. For that reason; the Division has given you until 27 May 2011 to complete this task. <br />'In our last telephone correspondence, you mentioned the difficulty of maintaining safeguards. at the ,Mackey <br />Mine portal due, to. vandalism. The Division's Inactive Mine Program has experienced technical personnel <br />that perform mine safeguarding routinely and may be able to provide some guidance.
