The proposed mining operations will be using the roads described for transportation access for labor, equipment, and <br />waste rock hauling. The daily anticipated use is as follows. <br />• Labor transportation, upto 2 passenger vehicles twice daily. <br />• Equipment transportation, 3 cu. yd. rubber tired front-end loader (very limited). <br />• Waste rock hauling, upto 10 round trip loads with a tandem dump truck daily, during daylight hours. Haul <br />traffic will be to the south via Virginia Canyon Rd. then via Two Brothers Rd. in Clear Creek County to the <br />mineral processing millsite. It will take approximately 100 loads to completely remove this dump. <br />At NO time shall t)ublic roads be used to store or park equipment. <br />These usage rates are entirely consistent with current and historic use. Road damage from this traffic is unlikely. <br />We must point out that this area's road network is being used in this fashion already with the State's "Church <br />Placer" repository to the northeast of this proposed operation. Additionally on an "as-needed" basis, a water truck <br />will be employed to sprinkle the roads for dust abatement measures. <br />Occasionally, perhaps twice annually depending on conditions, the operations will employ a front-end loader/grader <br />to maintain the historic mine access road. Ibis could only be seen as a drastic improvement over the currently <br />existing condition of the road. Having a maintained road in this remote region should be seen by residents of the <br />County as an asset for future wildland firefighting. Gilpin County Road and Bridge publishes maintenance <br />standards and issuers maintenance permits. <br />This evaluation has been prepared by Ryan J.
