The primary discharge pipe gate was closed. The pond embankment was well grassed and was stable. <br />There was no debris or other blockage in the emergency spillway. <br />The culverts at the loadout were clear of any blockages. The graveled east <br />loadout entrance was also in good condition. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />No problems were observed with any of the coal handling structures. There were no operations involving <br />the unloading of coal haul trucks or loading of railcars during the inspection. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />The mine identification signs were up at the main entrance, east entrance and along the side road near the <br />railroad tracks.
