The feature is located in the southern part of the site on the eastern side <br />slope of the ridge. <br />The projectile point is the proximal portion of a possible lanceolate stemmed point (Figure 6.124). <br />The base fragment has a single notch and measures 19P x 13 x 3 mm and is made of opaque chert. <br />No evidence of basal grinding was noted. Both flake tools are utilized flakes. The first specimen <br />is a complete opaque chert tertiary flake in two refittable pieces. Taken together, the artifact <br />measures 7.3 x 4.9 x 0.7 cm and exhibits usewear on all four margins. The second specimen is an <br />incomplete medial /proximal portion of an opaque chert tertiary flake that measures 2.6P x 2.7 x <br />0.3 cm. Usewear was noted along one lateral margin. The exhausted core is made of opaque chert <br />and measures 8.3 x 5.5 x 2.5 cm and exhibits at least 20 flake scars. <br />• <br />47599 TRC Mariah Associates Inc. <br />
