are tertiary flakes and one secondary flake. Semitranstucentchert is the dominant material type with
13 flakes (12 tertiary flakes and one secondary flake). The remainder consists of seven opaque chert
tertiary flakes.
The site was not tested because the sediment context consists of residual sandy clay with gravel and
bedrock detritus overlying bedrock.
NRHP Eligibility Recommendation and Project Effect Site SMF6084 is recommended as not
eligible for listing on the NRHP when evaluated under Criterion D. The site lacks dateable cultural
features and temporally diagnostic artifacts and is comprised of an artifact scatter that is limited in
density and diversity. The sediment context consists of residuum and bedrock that has no potential
to contain intact significant subsurface cultural deposits. Recordation has exhausted the research
• potential of the site.
