• instructions was distributed to the field team. A copy of the memo also exists in
the Lower Administration building by the copy machine. Dwight Kinnes will
create a CD Rom for each drill hole inclusion in the file.
Core Analysis Forms
Each field geologist needs to complete the "Core Analysis Instruction Form" for
each drill hole at the end of each drilling period or at the completion of a hole to
account for the samples that will be sent to the laboratory. The form needs to be
filed out electronically with box number, sample number, thickness, sample type
(i.e, roof rock, coal, bone, etc.) and then given to Alex Papp for review, wherein
he will select the analytical tests. As part of the check, a copy of the geophysical
log and lithology log must also accompany the form. Alex will forward a copy of
the completed analysis sheet to the laboratory and keep a copy in the electronic
hole file.
Upon completion of each drilling period an inventory list of the core boxes that
are being shipped to the lab will be prepared containing at least the box numbers
and sample intervals. This list will be given to the laboratory and a copy retained
in the Collom file.
SGS will be sending the results to the attention of Dwight Kinnes at Colowyo.
Both a spreadsheet and an original hardcopy will be provided by the laboratory.
• Final Lithology reportinq
Core description sheets will be reviewed and initialed by the geotechnical
engineer. The geologist must also initial the sheet when deemed complete.
Coal seams will be reconciled with the geophysical log by the geologist and the
depth adjustments placed on the core description sheet. The geologist is also
responsible in providing a log adjusted description for the rotary portion of holes.
The reconciled lithology data is then provided to Dwight Kinnes for entrance into
the database.
Drill Hole Database
Dwight Kinnes will organize data entry of the logs. The Access drill hole
database is located in the CCC_COLLOM project area. The database is located
at: CCC_COLLOM \Geology \DrillHoleData \dhdb.mbd
Double -click on the "dhdb.mdb" file to open the file.
You will be asked for a User ID and Password. Three sets of user id's and
passwords exist for the database granting different levels of access, as shown:
Access Level User ID Password
• Read /Input Only geologist geologist
Read /Edit Only geoedit geoedit
NAPROJECTS\ACTIVE PROJECTS \1159520037 RioTuvo Collo3nPiil \DraftP—it Text Tabl.
