The graveled east side <br />entrance road was in good condition as well. The light use road that runs along the railroad tracks was dry and <br />passable. <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 ? ? Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />There was a moderate vegetative cover on the facilities bench outslope. The vegetative cover at the <br />material storage area and in the field on the west side of the permit area was good. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />There was no evidence of any slope instability with the facilities bench outslope or at the facilities bench <br />cut slope. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The loadout was not in operation during the inspection. No problems were noted with any of the coal <br />handling structures. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />The mine id sign was up at the main entrance, east entrance and near the railroad tracks. The required <br />information was on each sign. Perimeter boundary marker signs were up around the permit area. <br />TOPSOIL - Rule 4.060 I IRemoval 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />There was a moderate vegetative cover on the east side topsoil stockpile. The collection and diversion <br />ditches were in place and the topsoil signs were up on the pile. <br />The west side topsoil stockpile had a good cover of vegetation. The collection ditch/berm was in place.
