The DMEA substation <br />road that is access to the reclaimed west mine yard area and sediment pond was passable. The railroad crossing <br />was not blocked by rail cars. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The reclamation performed at the east mine yard area and at the west mine silo area is holding up. The <br />vegetative cover is moderate to good and there were no indications of slope instability. There also were no signs of <br />erosional problems. The reclaimed portal and bleeder areas also appeared stable. Although the vegetative cover <br />was poor, there did not appear to be any problems with erosional gullying. <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 ? ? Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The vegetative cover on the backfilled and graded east mine yard area and the west mine silo area, which <br />are south of the county road, was moderate to good. The vegetative cover on the portal and bleeder areas north of <br />the county road, however, was poor. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />The backfilled areas of the reclaimed mine appeared to be stable. However, the small slide at the east mine <br />north of the county road was right up to the county road. Travel on the county road was not a problem, however. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />Since this is a revoked site, there are no mine identification signs or disturbed area marker signs.
