• enhancing existing data. Therefore, inclusion of the mined out data is
considered at this time to be low priority.
• CCC is continuing a drilling campaign in 2005. These data are being added
as they become available.
• Status: Ongoing. The 2005 drill hole data is being processed and
entered into the database as the data is collected. CCC has employed a
mining engineering intern for the summer to assist with keeping data
entry current.
• Unknown information in the database is left as blank fields. TS was advised
that MineScape ignores blank values, e.g. when incremental plies are
composited. The means by which MineScape does this should be added to
the resource estimation procedure.
• Status: Complete. The method used to prepare composite modeled
quality values is outlined in the "Geological Modelling Protocol ". This
protocol is located in Appendix 3 of this memorandum.
• Responsibility for collecting and validating geological data remains with
individual geologists. TS recommends that they be offered sufficient training
in Access to input and extract information competently from the database.
o Status: In progress. Plans have been made to provide drill hole
database access (read only) to key technical personnel within Colowyo.
Training personnel in the use of the database is included in these plans.
o Production data are stored separately in Excel spreadsheets and managed
by the CCC Plant Co- ordinator and the surveyors. Production data provides
a valuable asset that can assist with thickness and quality continuity
evaluations. TS recommends that CCC consider archiving the production
data in a separate database as each have slightly different collar information.
o Status: Complete. CCC production quality data resides in a SQL server
database with an MS Access front -end. This database was installed
July 2004 at the CCC laboratory office. All of the production quality
data compiled since last summer has been added to this database. The
database currently has limited data export and reporting capabilities
that hamper the extraction of data from the system.
o The production quality data collected prior to July 2004 was stored in a
DOS format files that were converted to Excel. These data were
provided to TS for geostatistical evaluation.
r
