0 Memorandum <br />To: Mike Whateley <br />CC: Bob Young, Juan Garcia, Alan Jorgensen <br />From: Collom Exploration Staff <br />Date: 5/26/2005 <br />Re: Response to Geological Database and Modeling Issues raised in RTTS <br />report "Review of KEC Colowyo Collom Geological Data ", BR3273 - <br />May 20 <br />The follow memo outlines the actions taken by Colowyo Coal Company (CCC) <br />personnel and geological contractors to mitigate or correct database and <br />modeling issues highlighted by Mr. Mike Whateley in the report "Review of KEC <br />Colowyo Collom Geological Data ", BR373 - May 2005 <br />The following sections outlines each issue needing action by CCC and the current <br />course of action and /or status of tact issue. The issues were compiled from <br />"Conclusions and Future Actions" section of report BR373. The reports issues <br />are in italics. <br />• `Original' Data Storage: <br />o All `original' historical and future information stored in the fire retardant <br />cabinets should be included in a computerised catalogue of geological <br />information that is currently in hard copy format. <br />o Status: Complete. Each drill hole is listed in a two volume cross <br />referenced index called "GeoMaster ". The "GeoMaster" files are <br />updated annually. Additionally, each drill hole in the database lists the <br />filing cabinet containing hard copies stored in the header information. <br />1� <br />
