Historic Properties Treatment Plan, Collom Mine, Colorado 45 <br />6.0 MANAGEMENT SUMMARY <br />This document provides a treatment plan for four archaeological sites within the proposed <br />Colowyo Collom Mine Expansion Project area. Implementation of the plan will mitigate <br />adverse effects to the four sites. The phased approach will provide the most efficient means of <br />investigating significant buried cultural deposits. In addition, the research design will guide the <br />excavations by proposing questions that can be answered by the data. The data will then <br />generate information that is significant to the prehistory of the region. The overall results <br />obtained from the project will be presented in a comprehensive report to be submitted at the <br />conclusion of test excavations. <br />47599 <br />TRC Mariah Associates Inc. <br />
