Blasting was performed in theses areas on Monday (8/31/2009), Wednesday <br />(9/2/2009), and Thursday (9/3/2009). <br />H) Material Processing <br />1) South Cresson Clay Processing Area <br />Processing of Soil Liner Fill material continued at the South Cresson Clay Processing area. A <br />CAT D-6 dozer, a CAT 330 excavator, and a CAT 966 front-end loader were used to process <br />the material. <br />Location This Week <br />(tons) Cumulative Comments <br />So Cresson Clay Processing 3,574 80,876 <br />Squaw Gulch Processing 0 35,816 Processing in area complete. <br />Total 3,574 116,692 <br />I) New ADR Water Tank and Waterline <br />Ames placed 2-inch minus material (pipe bedding material) for the ADR water tank using a CAT <br />345 excavator and a CAT 966 front-end loader. The material was moisture conditioned and <br />compacted using a walk-behind sheep's foot compactor. One nuclear density test was performed <br />with a passing result of 95% of maximum dry density. Moisture density relations were obtained in <br />accordance with AS TM D-1557. <br />Ames placed foundation bedding for the ADR water tank using a CAT 345 excavator, bringing the <br />foundation to finish grade. Tank bedding material was transported from on off-site location. The <br />material was moisture conditioned and compacted using a walk-behind sheep's foot compactor. <br />One nuclear density test was performed with a passing result of 95% of maximum dry density. <br />Moisture density relations were obtained in accordance with ASTM D-1557.
