The <br />road must also be constructed pursuant to the haul road rules detailed <br />in Rule 4.03.1. <br />Response: A detailed description of the existing access/haul road has been <br />provided in the revised application in the Operations Plan section listing the <br />dimensions and drainage information. <br />In Exhibit 37 New Elk states that the loadout site is currently an industrial <br />site. New Elk does not discuss whether there will be any grading work <br />required at the site. Please describe any earthwork that will be performed <br />at the site prior to the construction of the loadout facilities. Please <br />include all earthwork volumes, if necessary. Any proposed earthwork <br />volumes and descriptions will also need to be included in Rule 2.05.4 - <br />Reclamation Plan, and will need to be included in the reclamation cost <br />estimate. <br />Response: There will be no need for earthwork or grading to be performed <br />at the existing site. Excavation for structure footers will be completed and <br />the materials will be used to slope drainage away from the structure. During <br />facilities demolition and reclamation, grading will occur to reshape the site to <br />the preoperational conditions. <br />7.
