(iii) Outline the sequence in which each phase of the operation will be <br />carried out: <br />The mining sequence in the expansion area will be a cut and fill mining <br />operations. It will consist of 5 to 6 cuts and fills. Mining will begin at the <br />northern end of the existing Bettger Pit's final cut and proceed northward into the <br />expansion area. <br />(f) A map in Exhibit C may be used along with the narrative to present the <br />following information: <br />The Operator considers the following information, (1)(i) and (ii) as confidential <br />( <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />No change from the existing Bettger Pit permit application. <br />However, other materials may be processed on site and/or utilized as required for local <br />markets and may include: <br />• Excess topsoil <br />• Excess overburden <br />• Rip rap <br />• Specialized types of sand and gravel <br />(h) Describe the intended use of all expected incidental products to be <br />mined/extracted: <br />Products from this mining operation will be used for construction materials as defined by <br />the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS), as follows: <br />Page 11
