The schedule should include mined out/regraded areas, the final <br />area to be mined and the access/haul road. <br />a. During the November 8th Pre-Operation Inspection, the Division noted that the <br />current operation has disturbed roughly 15 to 20 acres and only a few acres are <br />currently being reclaimed. <br />6. Please clarify your intent to stockpile topsoil and non-growth media overburden separately. <br />6.4.6 EXHIBIT F - Reclamation Plan Map <br />1. The scale on both Exhibit F Reclamation Plan Maps is smaller than the minimum 1:7,920 <br />2. Rule 6.4.6(a) requires the reclamation map present "the expected physical appearance of the <br />area of the affected land, correlated to the proposed mining and reclamation timetables. The <br />map must show proposed topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient detail to <br />portray the direction and rate of slope of all reclaimed lands." The Division needs to know <br />how the final grading will impact the unnamed drainages and where runoff will be directed. <br />Please provide a map indicating proposed final slopes and directions in the affected area. <br />6.4.7 EXHIBIT G - Water Information <br />1. Please see discussion regarding unnamed drainages in 6.4.3 Exhibit C, comment 11. and <br />6.4.6 Exhibit F, comment 2 above. <br />6.4.8 EXHIBIT H - Wildlife Information <br />1. Please label the DOW letter as Exhibit H. <br />6.4.9 EXHIBIT I - Soils Information <br />1. The Permit Exhibit I refers back to Exhibit C(h). Exhibit I requires the general type, <br />thickness and distribution of soil over the affected land. There is no discussion of existing <br />topsoil thickness in Exhibit C(h). Please provide this information. <br />6.4.10 EXHIBIT J - Vegetation Information <br />This section is adequate as submitted. <br />6.4.11 EXHIBIT K - Climate Information <br />This section is adequate as submitted.
