<br />IMPACT STATEMENT <br />Document A - Mining Operation <br />NAME OF APPLICANT/PROJECT: <br />Mining Uses. In addition to the General Approval Standards set forth in Division 5.5 - Standards <br />of Approval, the following additional standards shall apply to Mining Uses. <br />The applicant shall provide a written response to each approval standard - use additional <br />pages if needed. <br />Setbacks. Surface area disturbed shall fall within the following setbacks: <br />a. Federal, State, Or Local Dedicated Open Space Or Conservation Areas. No <br />surface area disturbance caused by a mining operation shall occur in whole or in part <br />closer than one thousand (1000) feet from a permanently dedicated federal, state, or <br />local open space or conservation area unless a smaller setback has been approved by <br />the federal, state or local entity with jurisdiction over the open space or conservation <br />area. <br />What are your prosed setbacks and any Federal, State, or Local dedicated open space or <br />conservation areas within 1000 feet from the proposed mining operation. <br />b. Adjacent Property, Irrigation Ditch Or Road Right Of Way. No excavation, <br />deposit of overburden, stockpiling or other mining activities associated with a mining <br />operation shall be permitted within one hundred (100) feet of the boundary of <br />adjacent property, irrigation ditch or private right of way. <br />Describe the the adjacent properties of the proposed use and describe the irrigation <br />ditches, or private right of way within 100 feet of the proposed operation. <br />D G <br />Public Roads. Roads affected by a mining operation shall comply with the following <br />requirements: <br />a. Vehicle Weight. The weight of trucks shal l not exceed federal, state or local <br />government imposed road or bridge weight capacity on approved hauling routes. <br />Special Use-Impact Statement
