6.4.6 EXHIBIT F - Reclamation Plan Map
Four maps have been submitted for this exhibit. The first map was submitted on August
16, 2010, it contains the most information relevant for the exhibit. The second set of
maps were photocopies of what appears to be USGS topographic maps of the general
area; it is unclear what purpose these maps serve for this exhibit. On November 8th the
Division received your response to our 2°a incompleteness letter containing two
additional maps the Division is assuming was submitted for this exhibit.
15.) Using the map submitted on August 16, 2010 with the original submittal, please
make the following corrections/additions:
a.) The corrected map must be signed by the registered land surveyor,
professional engineer or qualified person who prepared it.
b.) Please indicate the date the updated map was created.
c.) The map indicates a scale of 1 inch equaling 50 feet. However, the actual scale
is 1 inch equaling 106 feet. Please ensure the correct scale is indicated on the
map.
d.) Please remove the overburden/topsoil stockpiles depicted on the map. This
material will need to be used to reclaim the affected land, thus no stockpiles
should exist at the site after reclamation.
e.) Please depict how the roads leading into the mine area will be reclaimed.
f.) Please indicate on the map the entire affected land will be reclaimed to
"pastureland".
g.) The maps submitted in the response to the second incompleteness letter
received by the Division on November 8th, 2010 depicts the proposed expansion
area and the exiting pit area. However the boundary line on this map does not
appear to coincide with any of the other maps. The Division assumes this map
was submitted to depict the topography of the reclaimed land. If so, please use
this map as a reference to depict the topography on the map submitted on August
16th, 2010. This map must depict the topography of the reclaimed land with
contour lines sufficient detail to portray the direction and rate of slope which
should be no steeper than a 3:1 horizontal to vertical ratio.
Publication and Notices
16.)
