The letter is in regard to Permit Revision No. 12 (PR-12) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine.
In their letter, the CHS concurs with the BLM in finding that there are no historic properties that would be
affected by the operations proposed in PR-12. Therefore, the CHS has concluded its review of PR-12.
Please note that the CHS is requesting in their letter that future reports submitted on behalf of Bowie
Resources be complete submittals.
Also, as stated in their letter, the CHS has a general concern about subsidence possibly affecting historical
properties. This concern is outside of the PR-12 review. The CHS will contact the BLM to see if additional
information on subsidence is required. If the CHS requires any additional information, the Division will let
Bowie Resources know.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
n
I ?j6seph J.
