There would be more than enough soil for this function. The existing mine has had approximately 145,200 loose cubic yards removed to date and the project surrounds the existing pit. The division and the applicant agree on the total cubic yards 770,701 to 701,777 to backfill the pit to pre-existing ground level. However that would not be necessary due to the facts that the excavation would already be at the required slope of 4 horizontal to 1 vertical and no ground water would be seeping into the excavated hole.
