Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />N - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />R - Processing Waste N - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was a complete inspection of the Williams Fork Mines conducted by Jim Stark of the Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety on the morning of 24 September 2010. Brian Watterson of BTUEC accompanied <br />me on the inspection. The mine is currently in temporary cessation and only monitoring and reclamation activities <br />are being conducted. The weather was warm and mostly sunny and the ground was dry. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS - Rule 5.02.4(1): All of the records were brought to the site in 3-ring binders <br />by Brian Watterson. They are kept at the Twenty Mile Mine in Oak Creek. All of the required records were <br />available. Please see the "Availability of Records" checklist at the end of this inspection report for more detailed <br />information. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING - Rule 4.14 Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour <br />4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials <br />4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />- The backfilled #4 portal area was stable at the time of the inspection. No cracks or settling was noted in the <br />backfill. The slope is fairly steep (approximately 2.5:1) but is well vegetated. <br />- The backfilled solid waste disposal area, where 2008 demolition debris was buried, remains stable. There was no <br />settling of the backfilled pit noted at the time of the inspection. The area was reseeded in fall of 2008 and still has <br />a fair amount of annual weeds with perennial grasses interspersed.
