Drilling in raise-baring <br />6 situations; Karst cave drilling. <br />7 Most of these examples came from <br />8 Bruce Stover in our department. He has many years <br />9 of experience associated with situations like this <br />10 and is available for further testimony if you have <br />11 any more questions.- <br />12 And perhaps the highest profile <br />13 example of this to ever occur is happening as we <br />14 speak. aP is drilling a 17,000-foot hole to hit a <br />15 1-square-foot target. They say the one hole has a <br />16 95 percent chance of hitting the target. Two holes <br />17 gives them a 98 percent target. <br />18 Don't tell me this is too technically <br />19 challenging. It will be expensive, but not too <br />20 technically challenging. <br />21 Drilling through open cavities is <br />22 difficult. That's correct, but the operator does <br />23 not have to go through whole open cavities. The <br />24 hole would be drilled through solid rock until the <br />25 open shaft was encountered, then the casing/pump
