As Section 3.3.3 of Trapper's permit details the initial configuration of the monitoring system;
this report updates the configuration of the monitoring system. Since the last report in March,
Station 1 has been removed due to the advance of mining operations. The GPS originally
located with Station 1 has been relocated to Station 2. Station 5 has been established with a
borehole and installed sensors, but does not have a GPS station at this time.
Inclinometer graphs for the period October 15, 2009 (with the exception of Station 5 which
begins July 14, 2010) through September 29, 2010 are attached. Movement is measured in
inches of displacement (a change from the previous "Degrees Tilt" measurement) and represents
rotation of inclinometer casing. Beginning values can be seen at the October 150' point on the
graphs. There has been no significant movement in the inclinometers during the monitoring
period.
Piezometer reading graphs for each site are also attached, and represent the same period as the
inclinometers above.
Stations 2, 3, and 4 currently have GPS monitoring stations. Displacement histories for these
sites for the period of July 24, 2010 through September 22, 2010 are attached.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Seth A.
