we said it. We all have a cultpacker and we will not and do not farm without one, Any way I am
not going to go through all of this right now. There are so many many mistakes and things taken
out of context. And just like what we have already expressed to Western Fuels to change the
wording of some of these documents such as Lance met with Michael and they discussed
numerous things but ALL was not agreed upon. And I was at the hospital and they need to take
out that I would not meet with therm at a face to face meeting that I did not even know about and
they said they would and didn't. And they know for fact that we are going to fertilize EVERY
year that it is needed and a fertility test will be taken every year to see what fertilizers we need.
We have always fertilized EVERY year and they are not going to change that . This is why we
had the production. we had! All. I know is that you bad, better read this adequacy report extremely
carefully because of all the mistakes and the facts are erroneous.
We plant Alfalfa around the first week of June after we know the hard frost is gone. We plant
with. a cover crop of oats at 70.75 lbs per acre and this is not negotiable. Jim. Boyd has never
farmed and he has never been here to see bow we farm and this is what has been done for a 100
years and all the ranchers around here do the same. Weimers even plant more per acre, and so
does Dan Morgan in Jims area, We don't plant alfalfa during the late fall or early winter and we
don't want any other cover grains except oats with our alfalfa because we have no market for,
therm. We are in a production farming business, we do not raise livestock. If we plant fall wheat
or ti.ti.cale, then it is just for a manure crop and plowed under in the spring before the alfalfa and
oats are planted. 'why are you not talking to the FARMER and getting the correct information.
for the farming on this place???? All of this information was given to Mr. Berry and to Western
Fuels and. they all agreed to do it like we have always done. We are objecting to .Permit renewal #
6 sand it's contents because of the lack of knowledge and communication with the landowner,
this revision will not make our place as good as or, better than it was. We do not have livestock,
and we are the only ones in this area or in the Norwood area or the West End that strictly raises
for production.
Sincerely,
A&, 001en Turner
