May Day and Idaho Mine Complex 112 (d) Permit Application <br />• <br />• <br />No irrigation for reclamation activities is planned. <br />6.4.7(4) Projected Water Sources <br />Wildcat Mining Corporation has two water rights as documented in Attachment G -1 and G -2. <br />The 1904 senior water right, acquired through the lease with Fairfield Land Company, <br />(Attachment G -1, Case No. 80CW133) allocates groundwater at a consumptive use rate of 0.22 <br />cfs (100 gpm) for the purposes of mining, milling and industrial activities. The second water <br />right was filed on November 30, 2006 (Case No. 06CW91) and authorizes the conditional use of <br />1 cfs (capped at 12 acre feet per year) for mining, milling and industrial purposes. The source of <br />water is the Idaho Adit near Idaho Portal No. 1. <br />6.4.7(5) Discharge Permit <br />The Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) issued a CDPS <br />General Permit for Stormwater Discharges associated with Metal Mining to Wildcat Mining <br />Corporation, Permit No. COR- 04000, Facility No. COR- 040222, on October 17, 2006. Wildcat <br />Mining Corporation is in the process of revising this permit to reflect the mining activities <br />contemplated by this Section 112(d) mining permit application. Wildcat Mining Corporation has <br />also applied for coverage under a CDPS Industrial Individual Wastewater Discharge Permit for <br />the May Day Idaho Mine Complex, and prior to earth disturbing activity associated with the <br />mining activities contemplated by this permit application, Wildcat Mining Corporation will also <br />apply for coverage under the CDPS General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with <br />Construction Activity. <br />May Day Idaho Mine Complex 112(d) Permit Application <br />September 21, 2010 <br />
