Receipt No. 3607979 WELL PERMIT NUMBER 64853 -F - Page 2 <br />ISSUANCE OF THIS PERMIT DOES NOT CONFER A WATER RIGHT <br />CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br />10) Pursuant to Rule 10.1.6 of the Water Well Construction Rules, gravel pit wells are exempt from the minimum well <br />construction standards except for contamination considerations as stated in the Rule. The owner of the gravel pit shall <br />take necessary means and precautions to prevent contaminants from entering the gravel pit well. <br />11) The boundaries of the gravel pit pond shall be more than 600 feet from any existing well, completed in the same aquifer <br />that is not owned by the applicant. <br />12) Pursuant to Policy 2000-4 of the State Board of Examiners of Water Well Construction and Pump Installation Contractors <br />(Board), temporary pumping equipment may be installed and maintained in the gravel pit pond to withdraw water for the <br />permitted beneficial uses in accordance with variance no. 2003-33A, granted by the Board on March 5, 2003. <br />13) A totalizing flow meter must be installed so as to measure any pumping from this gravel pit pond and maintained in good <br />working order. Permanent records of all diversions from the gravel pit pond, and the surface area of ground water <br />exposure, shall be maintained by the pit owner (recorded at least annually) and submitted to the Division Engineer upon <br />request. <br />NOTE: This gravel pit pond may be subject to administration in the water rights priority system in the future. It is <br />recommended that a water court decree be obtained to affirm the priority of the gravel pit pond. On July 7, 2005, an <br />underground water right was decreed by the Division 2 Water Court for this gravel pit pond in case no. 04CW59. On August <br />15, 2006, the applicant filed an application for additional uses for this underground water right in case no. 06CW59 <br />(pending).
