In addition, monitoring based on P cut harvest bale weight and count will be conducted, <br />and the results will be included along with the relative production assessment results, in <br />the annual reclamation report submitted to the Division for the year. A sample of bales <br />will be weighed, with bale selection and weighing procedures to be consistent with <br />procedures for final bond release, with the exception that sample size will be a minimum <br />of ( . for large bales (>500 pounds) and a minimum of 15 for small bales (<100 pounds). <br />Auainment of sample adequacy is not required. The estimated hay production will be <br />reported in pounds per acre, based on average bale weight, total bales in the subject <br />fields, and acreage of the subject fields. <br />Above language has been inserted into the permit narrative verbatim. <br />xiii. The Division requested certain clarifications regarding reporting of interim monitoring of <br />cropland hay production, and the requested modifications were provided. Resolved. <br />xiv. The Division requested clarifications regarding IP and DP interim monitoring to <br />be conducted in Years I and 7 of the liability period. Modified language was <br />provided, but we suggest the following clarifications. In the first paragraph of <br />Subsection 7.0, references to sampling in the first two sentences should be <br />replaced with monitoring. In Item A, at the beginning of the first sentence, <br />insert Based on representative sampling or visual evaluation, assess species <br />composition... <br />The requested language has been inserted verbatim. <br />xv.
