September 15, 2010 C-1981-035/King Coal Mine TAK <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />King I - There was no activity at King I other than at the bathhouse. <br />King II - Earthwork for the surface facilities area of this new mine began in March 2007. All of the surface <br />earthwork (roads, ditches, etc.) has been completed. Buildings in the office/bathhouse /warehouse area remain <br />under construction. Four portals have been developed at King II. Coal was being trucked off-site. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />King I - Mine i.d. signs and affected area ("Permit Area") markers were properly displayed. <br />King II - A mine i.d. sign was on display at the mine's entrance on County Road 120. The surface disturbed area <br />is well-marked with "Permit Area" markers.
