Pineda <br />Director <br />RE: Derr Pit; DRMS File No. M-2008-017; Technical Revision - 01 (TR-0 1) Adequacy <br />Review <br />Dear Mr. York, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has completed its adequacy review <br />of your application for the Technical Revision to the above referenced permit. The application <br />was received and called complete for review on August 23, 2010. The decision date for this <br />application is September 22, 2010. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily <br />address any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your <br />responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues <br />that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no <br />extension has been requested, the Division will deny this application. <br />The Division has identified several items that will require the submittal of additional information <br />or clarification of the existing information. Inadequacies are identified under the respective <br />corrective actions along with suggested actions to correct them. <br />6.4.3 Exhibit C - Pre-mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Areas <br />1. The Mining Plan Map shows typical dewatering ditches and collection ponds. Will these <br />features be eliminated with the use of wet mining methods? If so, please revise the Mining <br />Plan Map accordingly. <br />6.4.4 Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />2.
