3.0 CERTIFICATIONS <br /> Cyprus Climax Metals Company and Climax Mine (Climax) are committed to compliance with <br /> the procedures outlined in this Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan. It is <br /> the intent of management to assure that spills are prevented; however, if spills do occur, Climax <br /> will utilize all reasonable resources under its control to prevent offsite contamination of the <br /> waters of the State of Colorado. Similarly, Climax has made significant progress in the <br /> construction of containment structures for materials onsite and will continue to evaluate the <br /> effectiveness of these systems to determine if improvements are needed. Climax intends to <br /> implement all facets of this SPCC by October 1, 1995.
